Recording

Hey people heres a song I wrote and recorded....

I did all the vocals, just on different tracks. Its called "folk song (drift away)". tell me what you think on facebook or xanga...   especially tell me if you think it stinks to prevent further embarassment....

by the way, its kinda a cheap recording, I accidently breath too hard into the mic at times, but hey, oh well.

Sal your tations

Hey everyone, How are you all?

I realize i haven't posted in a long time, but i have been incredible busy with soccer lately, and i got a facebook which is a little more low maitenance.

Soccer has been going well, though our season is going worse than we thought it was. BUT, my highlight of the season came monday, when i scored the winning goal in overtime against Boone. It was great fun!

so if anger on xanga is xanger, would a gang be a xang?

we should start one...

seeyha later,

ben.

sockurr...

So, i've been pretty busy lately, we had a soccer game yesterday in Oskaloosa. It was really windy and really cold and the field was pretty much a swamp it was so wet.

BUT, we won 6-0, and it was amazing, so that made it all worth while. We are now 2-0 so far in the season, which is a good start apparently...

Friday starts off my little spring break, so that should be nice. We're having an easter brunch at the church that will most definately be delicious.

What's everybody's thoughts on the new Iowa basketball coach Todd Lickliter?

ok seeyah.

Long time, no read?

Although it hasn't been to long it's seemed like ages since i've updated this thing...

So to wrap up the happenins around here, the lock in was very fun and entertaining, yes.

And soccer is going well, but its a bit tiring , and this year we are actually going to lift weights. yay

And my bracket for the Ncaa tournament was doing well, but now is totally down the drain.

I'm hungry.

Spanish has been pretty fun. When i got to class on thursday someone from a previous class had left their purse right under my desk, and i didn't notice it was there. A few minutes into class the girl sitting next to me said " Hey whose purse is that?" Now keep in mind, the people in my spanish class dont know me yet as the crazy guy that you all know me as. I answered with a straight face, nonchalantly " oh thats mine."
She thought i was serious until i started laughing and said i was joking.... Somebody commented that the purse really din't match my outfit anyways, and i told them i had been in a hurry and it was the only purse i could find...
it was a fun time

ok seeyah,

ben.

Lock in, lock out....

So, i'm coming for the lock in at sycamore on friday! yippee!

And i had my first day of soccer practice and it went really well. We have around 22 players, which is great compared to last years 14! Alot of them are freshmen, which is good 'cause it will hopefully build a good foundation for the team. I actually found out today that i'm the only junior on the team. crazy....

As for the practice itself, it was quite grueling as we're doing conditioning this week. First we played indoor soccer with two teams and two soccer balls which was insane. Then, we ran about 2 miles, and then we came back and played more indoor soccer. (the indoor soccer was much more tiring thatn it sounds...)

well, hope to see some of you this weekend and

peace in (or out , whatev')

ben

(oh by the way, i am currently reading "The Cat-Nappers" by PG Wodehouse...Its a jeeves and wooster story, and pretty hilarious.)
